Update on our family
Okay, I know this may be long but with so much going on thought I would give an update on all!
Hubby has had his back surgery and all went well. He will go back to the cod on tuesday to get the staples out. Then in 2 weeks he will start physical therapy. Doc said the injury caused a loss of 75% of his right arm. So will take lots of therapy to get him back into shape!
Ashley & baby Daniel are settling into our home quite nicely. The ex has not violated the restraining order as of yet so all looking well on that issue. And we just found out last friday that there is another baby on the way! Ashley is hurt & confused about it all, but she is my daughter and she has my strength so we will walk this road together.
You all know I have been trying to quit smoking again and it has been very difficult for me. I was never able to make it more than 12 hours at a stretch without any smoking. Well, as of right this moment, It has been 28 hours since I have had a cigarette. I will beat this awful monkey and finally have him off my back!
Guess that's it for the update.
Tracy
Tracy, keep beating that monkey. I understand how hard it is. Overall it will be the healthiest thing you could do, I believe even over losing weight. My 72-yr old father just quit for the first time and he has smoked since he was 12 years old. My husband says he is done tomorrow. I can not ever smoke again. I think one reason my recovery has been so difficult this week is because of smoking. I am finally going through the day without oxygen but the nurse woke me up last night to put it on because my o2 levels kept dipping down to low. My chest hurts so bad right now and my right lung is diminished. Lets fight the monkey together!!!!. We can be stronger than that stinky cig.
I can just imagine the feelings Ashley has right now. How difficult to be going through everything and being a young mom, with another on the way. Puts more on the plate but everything will turn out. She is lucky to have you there to support, comfort, and love her unconditionally. She needs the safe place. My best wishes to her and her children.
Sounds like hubby has some hard work ahead of him. I hope the therapy helps and he is 100% improved.
Positive Vibes to you
