Thanks Christina. I know that there is a big debate about the calcium... and I will find out at my NUT class what they suggest. I love the viactive so I hope I can keep taking that.... BTW.. I get mine at Target and it is the same price as other places. Did you know that they make a multi vitamin now. I am going to take that with me to my NUT class as see what they say along with the gummy vites and hopefully one of those will be ok to take since I am having such a hard time finding something that I can stomach. Thanks so much for you 2 cents... it is always welcome around me... Shawn M.

I got hold of my nutritionist and they said the Viactiv is okay but I need 1200 units (is is grams or mgs?) anyway, since they are less absorbable. I got sick on the tablets I was taking. My labs at one year were fine, except on the iron stores, so I am on iron and Vit. C now. I also take the Meijer Brand and I get the buy one get one free and stock up when they have the sales! Hey, we can save half and any little bit helps. Since we no longer have drug coverage, the nutritionist also said to take any multi tablet of my choice. I am almost out of prenatals, so will be searching for a good one "on sale" Pam (one and a half years from surgery!)

Hi, I take Kirkland (Costco) brand multi-vit which is the same as Centrim twice a day, I also take 3 Viactives and 1 Vit C daily. My doc said that was fine. I still after 3 years have troubles swollowing a whole vitamin so I cut it in half. Check with your doc and do what he says.. Best of luck Robin

I tried a variety and ended up just taking flintstones complete vitamins with iron. They taste good but I have to eat a snack or they will upset my stomach a little. It just seems like the chewables would absorb better than pills. I take one in the morning and one in the evening - I also keep tums in the car and take a few a day for the calcium. The doc said that was fine and all of my labwork has been great.
