Question Re: New OH Changes
Hey:
Last night I was trying to spruce up my profile, and although I am not a computer geek, I am no dumbo either. Has anyone had difficulty in changing the wallpaper/background settings? Once I browse and place a file name in the box, even if I change file names, the old one still previews. So, I saw the option to return to the default settings, but even then, I preview and the old changes are there. I have even gone so far as to log out, delete the cookies, and log back in. Suggestions?
Am I just
?

Well, I am not sure if I am going to tell you the right way, but this is how I did it. I found a wallpaper I liked (from a site with all that fancy stuff), then I right clicked on it and saved it to my computer (kind of like a picture). Then I went to profile changes and uploaded that file. Just like you do your pictures.
Hope that helps. Check out my profile and see how it looks. It worked for me (I think and hope). At least I can see it. I should have a sparkly green wallpaper and sparlkly roses separating my blog entries.
I personally really like this new system and think it is easier to manage than the old way. Good luck.

I did try that, but then decided I didn't like the background I chose. So, when I tried to use something else in it's place, I couldn't get rid of it! Oh, well.
Anyways...I do appreciate your help, Shawn And, your profile looks nice. Where did you find the pretty sparklies and the separators/dividers?

Maria,
After you upload, I usually do a preview, then I go back and you need to click on "save". You may be doing that, but I know I forgot to one time and couldn't figure out what happened.
I can't remeber the site name but if you go to my profile and then click on the "WELCOME", it will take you to the site. They have a ton of neat stuff. Have fun!!!!
