:horse: OK I HAVE MY...
WTG Judy. I didn't find out what time to be there until 2:00 in the afternoon the day before surgery. Maybe my complaining about that got them on the ball. Did you know they have a hospitality room? It's only $15 and it's well worth it so your husband can get some rest. I've done the "in the room" thing and the hospitality room and the hospitality room was definitely the best. The nurses will call down there if you need them to and have your husband come up. I'll be praying for you and Dr. Foote that everything goes well. Gosh, only 4 more days until you're on the losers bench with us.

ANN I CALLED THEM AND ASKED ABOUT HUBBY STAYING IN THE ROOM WITH ME. THEY THEN CALLED ME BACK THAT SAME DAY AFTER I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE MONDAY THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME. YES I KNOW THERE IS A HOSPITALITY ROOM BUT WE ARE SO BROKE FROM THE GAS PRICES WITH ALL MY TRIPS THERE THAT WE CAN'T AFFORD IT EVEN AT THAT PRICE. BESIDES ITS HUBBYS TURN TO GO THROUGH THIS NOW!!
I HAVE BEEN WITH HIM THROUGH SO MANY ILLNESSES THAT ITS PAY BACK TIME!!!!
THANKS FOR MENTIONING IT TO ME THO!!
WE WILL BE ON THE ROAD BY 4 AM TO GET THERE TUESDAY!! I AM COUNTING DOWN THE TIME....

Best of luck although you won't need it with Dr. Foote and Spectrum. MMPC and their doctors are the best. I had Dr. Kemmeter 3 weeks ago today and was treated very well. Only one thing I did a little differently, I told them I wanted my hand deadened before they tried to put in the IV. That helped so much! Just tell the anesthetist that you want that and they will. They seemed glad to do it. After all, they want you dehydrated before surgery (nothing by mouth for 12 hours) and then they expect to find a vein. Not likely!
My surgery went vell and so will yours. Good luck to you.

I'm doing great, Judy. No throwing up at all. I'm experimenting with what I can eat and what I can't. So far, beef and shrimp are fine and chicken too if it's in a sauce. Chicken McNuggets are fine and the little fruit and yogurt parfait they have at McDonalds. I'm going to try clam chowder tomorrow and salad.
I still tend to overestimate how much I can eat! It lodges behind the breastbone like rocks I've swallowed and hurts for about an hour when I overdo it. I will learn eventually. =)
Take care,
Gloria
