Thoughts about cancelling TT:

If she is even near me, I'm cancelling. I am very hurt right now and want her no where near me. To tell a child that they were a mistake from conception to tell a child that they were not loved to tell her own flesh and blood she doesnt believe I am her daughter is not worth this. period.

Stacey you either have to forgive her for how you were left as a child and all the past, or get her completely out of your life. Personally, i would give anything i had to have my mom back on earth yelling at me. She's been gone 18 years and i still think of her every single day. Linda

you won't be trapped. from the day after my tummy tuck (two weeks ago) i was mobile. You will not be trapped. You can handle this. Only you can take care of yourself. your mom can help. if at any point she is no longer helping, send her home. I took care of myself after my RnY and i've been home alone most of the day since my TT. I'm grateful for all of Melanie's help and care and if not for her i would've been eating frozen convenience foods or delivery the first week instead of delicious home cooking but i'm NOT dependent and you don't need to be either. If your mom can't help you, show her the door! Do this FOR YOU. YOU DESERVE IT.

Lest mine ears deceive me, I hear the faint tune of the wicked witch of the west... duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh.... She is NOT worth it. OK, we all agree. NOW, you have many peeps who will do their ut-most bestest to cover meals & visits to make the recovery bearable. So get out a calendar and start plugging us in. And what day WILL your 2 week post-op appt. be on? I'll take the day off and take you myself. (Notice I said WILL and not might... get the hint?) Silly goose. Do Phyllis and I have to drag you around Frankenmuth AGAIN to get you in line? Hee hee. More silly glasses and now HATS! Think about that when the wicked witch rears her ugly, green skinned head. And I've said it before, some people should be shot for their kids's sake. (To protect the innocent) *HUGS* She's not worth it. I've gone through the whole family that only cares for itself thing, and granted, it wasn't my mom, but it sucks like no other. You have to remember that family is that group of people that YOU bring into your life simply by being you. So go on, get out there and prep for that surgery. (And ignore my messed up voice mail.
