I've never had peanut butter with anything except jelly. I have this "thing" about mixing foods. But after wls someone told me about banana w/ peanut butter. I tried it and it was pretty good, but I couldn't eat a whole one for a long time. So I am at lunch last week with my wls friends and they're talking about apples & peanut butter. I'm thinking (ewwww) more mixing of food. But apples were on sale this week so I had boughten a couple bags. I tried it yesterday and OMG****hink I've died and gone to food heaven!!!!!!! It was soooooo wonderful. Took care of my need for something crunch, and sweet, and got some protein!!! So - grab the Jiff and an apple today. Laurie

Laurie, That is one of my favorite afternoon snacks. I am just heading to our local farm market to buy some good apples. Another one is a slice of apple with some sharp cheddar cheese. I love that, too. The apples and peanut butter reminds me of the apples and caramel apple dip that my kids love. Lynn

Half of a honey crisp apple topped with peanut butter is the absolutely best. Thehoney crisp is a bit pricey, but when you only eat half at a time it is actually cheaper than any other apple. I also like a peanut butter and tomato sandwich. Penut butter on celery, I could go on all day with what I eat peanut butter with. Carol

Laurie, Before my Dad passed, he got me hooked on something that sounds bizarre, but once I tried it, OMG it was great. Toasted bread, sliced thin tomatoes, (salt and pepper) and peanut butter. It's a Peanut Butter and Tomato sandwich. Yummy. Also he got me hooked on Peanut butter and salami back then. I can't touch salami now. I enjoy peanut butter and apple butter......I also enjoy my apples in peanut butter and I enjoy peanut butter with an occasional nestle crunch mini bar. I do peanut butter and cream cheese on a half a toasted bagel too. And then sliced thin bananas. Stacey W

Laurie, Something else good with apples....... Dip them in sugar free chocolate pudding! They had a 'good riddens to ya' thing at work yesterday for a guy who is leaving. One of the guys made this cream cheese, apple, caramel thing and gave me remaining slices of apples (about 4). I dipped them in my sugar free chocolate pudding. Was delicious! Michelle

LOL you are so funny. I've pretty much raised my son on apples and peanut butter. (and he loves peanut butter and banana sandwiches!)..He's now 17 and we still love them! It was our favorite thing to eat for breakfast before school..and so easy. I've been pretty much living on apples with peanut butter since I could eat them after surgery 3.5 months ago! I can' eat a whole apple in one sitting, but I get it in a quarter at a time throughout the day.. You're right..it's a great treat!!!!! Blessings, Kim

Our ladies group at church were talking on tuesday about peanut butter plus...One lady said her favorite was peanut butter & mayo (YUK) another said she loved peanut butter & dill pickles. (YUK again) Don't have any desire to try either. Sounded like someone who is pregnant!!! I like peanut butter on my pancakes & waffles. I can eat only about half of a waffle, but get to justify its high carbs by adding the protien of the peanut butter. I do like it with apples & bananas & celery too. Peggy

It may not be what's under your peanut butter but what the heck is in your peanut butter!!! Don't be a choosy mom and choose Jif .... YUCK A MUCK!!! molasses, corn syrup solids, be kind to your behind and choose a natural peanut butter made with one ingredient PEANUTS!!!! and now the nutrition magician will get off her soap box!!!
