A date! I have a date!

I got a call yesterday from Cori and they told me I was all set to schedule surgery and that I would be getting a call to set it up within a few days. I got the call this morning and they wanted to do it NEXT WEEK!! I was stunned! They asked if the 12th was ok, but I said, as much as I want this done, that is my birthday and I'd rather not spend it in the hospital. Plus I'm in school and would like to wait until the semester is over, to avoid paying for dropped classes. Soooo, I scheduled for December 14th, just after classes end. The scared feeling is starting to set in a bit, because now I'm not saying, "when I have my surgery, then..." which at that time it seemed so far off. Now it's just 9 weeks away. I'm excited about it too. Thanks for listening, I just had to tell someone, who can appreciate the feelings I'm having. I'm gonna post this on the main board as well, so if you decide to respond, you don't have to do it twice.

Good for you Shawn! Keep us posted after surgery....does Cori put you on a pre-surgery diet? If so, good luck with that, you'll do fine.
