Last post before heading down to Ypsi....

Sunday (tomorrow), I'm heading down to Ann Arbor to spend the night with my Mom, and Monday morning at 7am is my pre - op tests at Barix for my abdominoplasty with Dr. DiNick MD., which I am truly anticipating. I'm not nervous about pre op stuff more than I want the whole thing to be 'over' with so I can start getting into recovery. I have planned and planned and planned some more to manage my needs and such post op. I may be able to check my email tomorrow night at the hotel but that'd be about all I'll have time for.....I plan to take advantage of the pool at the hotel now before surgery as then, I can't even bathe for a while! eek!!! My whole state of being today is that I am ready, willing and eager to get 'er done and get into that recliner and kick back and let Mom wait on me hand and foot. For about 2 weeks then I hope to be well enough to handle things on my own. Hugs and warmer hugs to all of you for your kind words and support and back bones and phone calls and emails and hoo haa's.......*yes, you know who you are*...... lighten up! i was showering two days after mine (two week ago tomorrow) and while Mel has been waiting on me hand and foot, it's not been necessary. You're gonna be fine. And you're gonna love the results! good luck!

Who's doing this surgery? I was just in the surgeon's area on the web site and it says they won't be going it-something about a fee????? I'm lost here? kp
