To those going to Lexington KY:

I lived there in Lexington for 19 years - graduated from college there, fell in love with horses there and made many friends there. It was also in Lexington KY that I noticed my obesity problem, and started my research on WLS, some 20 years later, look at me now. Friends and family there don't even recognize me. If time permits, I highly recommend those interested take on the following sights: KENTUCKY HORSE PARK KEENELAND RACE TRACK LEXINGTON FESTIVAL MARKET (DOWNTOWN ACROSS FROM THE RADISSON) and While in the heart of Downtown, you will be staying at the hotel in which I once worked down below at a restaurant called "THE MAGIC PAN" where we were a creperie, bar and grill. Serving to Pat Summerall, and other famous noticeable stars including William Shatner, *****sides in Versailles KY, about 12 miles west of Lexington on Harrodsburg Road, You are ever present in BLEED BLUE TERRITORY....meaning the home of THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY WILDKATS. for the record, I bleed blue too. Notice the southern hospitality, southern accents, and watch out for the southern food. It'll knock you down. I do recommend taking a stroll across the water fountain in front of the hotel, and Country Music lovers listen to WVLK FM radio for your favorites. Also, make sure you bring back sometime from KY for yourself, you will be in the "BLUEGRASS" state. Enjoy your time, and remember me while you are at the conference.......I'll be in surgery that day having my tummy tuck!!! Stacey W
