support groups

Any pre/post support groups in Mt Cemens, Troy or Rochester area?? I plan to attend the group in Warren, but would like to find something closer to home/work. (North Macomb/St Clair County).

Pleatman's not my doctor, but I know there are support meetings in Bloomfield Hills for his patients, which might not be too far for you. I don't know for sure, but I've gotta believe you'd be welcome there. I don't know for sure.....maybe someone else does????? I was thinking of that for myself, because although I'm going thru Cori, I don't know if I'll want to drive that distance for support meetings. Just a suggestion.

Mt. Clemens Hospital has support groups that meet the 2nd Thursday of each month. You do NOT have to have a Mt. Clemens surgeon to attend the support group. In fact., we have several attendees who had their surgery elsewhere. We meet at 6:30 in room 210, I believe. When you go into the main entrance of the hospital, you will see elevators to your right. Go to the 2nd floor and follow the signs. The group is very informal and supportive of all newcomers whether they are pre-op or post-op and also welcomes other family supporters to attend. Jon
