Im getting upset
Remember that your body thinks it's starving to death so it's fighting everything you're doing to hold onto its resources. Just keep plugging away and eventually your body will figure out what's going on and let the pounds go.
Like everyone says .... don't be a slave to the scale - ignore it if you can - but definitely don't weigh every day. Pay closer attention to measurements, how clothes are fitting, how you are feeling and what new things you can do that you couldn't before.
Good luck!
Pam
Hi Ann
I know what you are going through, I have been at a stall too. Except for I am 6 weeks post-op today and am going through another stall for alittle over a week. I wish I knew what to do, but I can say, are you doing measurements on your body? I did my measurements the day before surgery, then today, 6 weeks later and have lost almost 22 inches off my body. I think it is what our bodies need to do to catch up. Hang in there...it will get moving again soon. I know....now I need to eat my own words...haha
Best of luck and Congratulations on your surgery

Stop weighing yourself except for when you go into the doctor's office! That way you are depending on their scales and you are only weighing in every couple weeks. Weight at this point in your losing can go up and down and SIDEWAYS -- not moving at all. Just relax, have some water, protein, or go for a walk. Do the stuff you're supposed to do and it will come off. You'll be amazed if you just let the good stuff happen. You can't force this along. One question, are you getting in all your protein and water? If you aren't eating enough, that will stall you out, too. Just a thought. Pam
Ann,
I understand... I am 3 YEARS post-op and I still have 10 pounds to go. I just can't lose anymore. I have joined Weigh****chers thinking by changing my food around it might help..WRONG! I work out 3 days a week and NOTHING!
Only weigh yourself on Sunday. If u have any suggestions for my last 10 pounds, please let me know.
I wish u all the best,
Robin
