Colds Post-Op

I've managed to catch the head cold that seems to be going around. My sinuses are all plugged up and causing headaches. It'****ting me pretty hard. I'm exhausted and just want to sleep. I've made it into work and went to water exercise class but that nearly wiped me out. Anybody else notice a more severe reaction to colds/illnesses since surgery?

I had my surgery August 28th and my son started school Sept. 4th. Of course he brought home the awful cold that was being passed around the school. I've been taking sudafed since I figured it couldn't be an infection. I was on 875mg of Augmentin for an infection in one of my surgery sites. My nose is still a little stuffy but definately getting better. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Hey Sarah! I had surgery on July 17th and I too have this stupid head cold. OMG I feel like I just want to crawl in bed and sleep all day. I missed the last 2 days of working out because I just don't have the energy. One because I am also feeling an upset pouch from all the drainage into my stomach. So, I'm not really eating or drinking alot. I am hoping to feel better tomorrow so I can at least drink a little more. My head feels like it weighs about 30 pounds. LOL I hope you feel better soon. I have been taking tylenol sinus daytime. It helps with the drainage. Hugs, Di
