More WOW moments, I thought they were done

Since I've been the same now for almost 6 mths (at goal and nipped and tucked) I didn't really figure I'd have any more wow moments, but I've had two whoppers in the last week so I thought I'd share them with you all. ONE: I went to dh's work with him to pick up his check. There's a handful of guys in there (truck drivers) and a couple of women working in the office. DH introduces me to one of the drivers. This guy literally took off his sun glass to check me out better! His eyeballs about bugged out of his head. He makes some remark to Steve about he can't believe that I married him (implying I could have married better, like him... what a total jerk) So I'm a little PO'd but dh just laughes it off and says that he knew he'd get a reaction out of that guy. Well, the next time dh comes home from work he says, "You're not going to believe what they were all talking about at work." I said what? He says, "they were talking about YOU (me)" Apparently the women asked Steve why he brought his DAUGHTER to work. ROFL!!!!! OMGSH, so then it got all around the work that it was his wife and that I looked like I should be his daughter (poor Steve's feeling pretty darn old at this point) But I'm LOVIN' it!!!!!! TWO: I have a friend (yup, really I do I do) and she's one of those people who you just look at and think, "man, she's got it all together. She's skinny, beautiful, perfect make up, great clothes, wonderful personality, etc...." Well, she called me last night and asked me if I knew what my inseam was... I'm like Huh??? You mean a certain number, like in inches. She says, yes, what's your inseam. Now I'm laughing as I tell her I've never shopped anywhere were I've needed that information!! She asks well then do you buy regular length or petite.... I say petite. She then tells me that she's got a bunch of clothes that's too small on her and since I'm a TWIG, she'd like to pass them on to me, if I wouldn't be offended. HOLY COW BATMAN!!!! It's a good thing I was buckled into my seatbelt or I probably would have fell out of my seat!!!!! I was SHOCKED to think that this lady thinks she's bigger then me (there is just no way) How totally freakin' cool !!! Even if just ONE thing fits me I will be in cloud nine for a week!!!!! (btw, where do you shop where they want to know ladies inseam???) laurie

Laurie, Great going there girl. Sure does make you feel great doesn't it. Keep up the good work.....it was all worth it wasn't it. Brenda
