Owosso Meeting???

Is there an Owosso Support meeting??

This is the message I received from Sandy last week. Hello All, just a reminder the support group will be held Sept 27 @ 7pm at the Family Care Center, 509 Bradley St. Owosso. There is no scheduled speaker but we will be voting on a change of location and the clothes swap. There will be no offical speaker....you are stuck with me. Hope to see you there, Sandy B

Hey Jean, How are you doing?? I'm scheduled for my tummy tuck and some other things on Thurs. afternoon. Dr. Obeid is going to repair a hernia I have and Dr. Alganham will be doing the tummy tuck and a breast lift and a couple of other things too. I will be in the hospital three to four days. I'm really excited but extremely nervous and getting very emotional right now. Maybe I'll try to make the support meeting on Wed. night if all goes well here. I've got so much to do but would love to see you and everyone again. Love, Frankie

HI Everyone, I would LOVE to go to the support meeting in Owosso. I will try to make it. I have to figure out where its at first though. Today is a busy day ending with the prom meeting tonight. Geesh-- seems like school just started!! lol Oh I know they have to begin planning early to get funding & stuff.Hopefully tomorrow will be a much less busy day around here. WHO KNOWS!! If you are coming from Flint, turn north on the norner of M52 and M21..Bradley St is the street right behind the library on the corner of the intersection. Turn left on Bradley. The building we meet in is a larger white house next to the parking lot of the library. So you would want the second drive on the left, after turning onto Bradley. Is this for the memerial hospital wls program or open to everyone? Im interested in a local group but had my surgury in GR in accordance to insurance requirements

I have attended (as a pre-op) and I am pretty sure it is open to all. My problem is that I had the DS and our issues are just a tad different so since I actually had the surgery I haven't gone. Instead bi-weekly I drive to Pontiac for my support group.

Jo, The meeting is open to anyone who has had or is interested in having wls. You are very welcome to attend it is at the Jennings and Lyons Family Care which is behind the Owosso Library building. It starts at 7 pm. I can't be there this month as I am on vacation and out of state. Hope to meet you in the future. Brenda
