THIS IS GOING TO SOUND STUPID!
It seems like i lived on cottage cheese for the first six months. boil some chicken really soft and make some chicken salad with mayo. you can use it in some cream of chicken soup too, that is good. You can cook a roast (i use a pressure cooker) and make it very tender and dip that in au jus , i even melt some swiss cheese on it, it's very good. Or i get some cream cheese and put lots of garlic powder and black pepper and salt and mix it good, then spread it on a piece of deli ham and roll it with a green onion in the middle. or you can make some spaghetti sauce and melt some cheese on it. You can make yogurt smoothies too. String cheese is good for snacking, as is sf fudgesicles and popsicles. I hope this helps you.

i remembered more lol. You can cook some taco meat (beef or chicken, but if chicken cook it very tender) make sure to drain the grease, or even use ground turkey. make sure you put the taco seasoning though. Then put refried beans and melt some cheese on top and eat it with taco sauce or salsa.
you can grill a burger and eat it with a-1 sauce. or make sloppy joes but make your own sauce with ketchup, a little mustard, and a little a-1. You can even put salsa too. Just don't use a bun. I tried a jenni-o turkey hot dog yesterday that was really good. you can take pork chops and cook them to death in saurkraut.
Just use your imagination, you'll get the hang of it soon. Just remember you don't eat that much.

Stacey, thank you for asking this question. I needed to be reminded of some ideas here myself. I am almost nine months out but I feel like I am starting over with eating. I spent most of the last three months living on a liquid diet due to strictures. I have been almost afraid to eat but I know that I have too. I also want to thank all of the posters for all the great ideas. THis is just what I needed. Thanks again Stacey and good luck with your eating adventures
