HELP.......Anyone Know Of A Life Insurance Company Who Doesn't Care About WLS?

Hi Everyone, I tried to get life insurance on myself and I was denied because of having WLS. Does anyone know of a good company that doesn't denie (spelled wrong I'm sure) you just because of having WLS? Thanks for the help!!!!!!!! Your WLS Pal, Jennifer V.

Hi Jennifer I have I have to weight a year My Inc is State Farm thay didn,t so no just weight I hope that helps A FRIEND IN ARMES MARY JO

Hi Jennifer, I called State Farm and they said anyone needs to wait about 6 months after surgery before they will insure. When I told them I was having WLS, they said all the better, because your rates are better when your BMI is down. What company turned you down? My agent is in Westland, but I think all State Farms will be the same. Good Luck, Brenda

Hi Brenda, Thanks so much for the information. I really appreciate it! I will have to check into State Farm. The company that turned me downs is CUNA Mutual Group. They even stated in the letter they sent me that they wouldn't insure me because of having WLS. That really sucks to because I have never felt better and my blood pressure has never been better. Go to www.zanderins.com I have life insurance through them and they will work to get you covered. Heck they covered me when I was 295 lbs and diabetic. I didn't have to pay an arm & a leg either. I got some very nice 20 year term insurance.
