Let's Walk for Life

Hey Kids!!! The second annual Walk For Life will take place at St. John Detroit Riverview on Saturday October 7th. The walk begins at 9:00am and registration opens at 8:00am. If you would like more information or if you would like to register, the phone number call 1-888-440-REAL (7325). I'll walk there that day instead of Lakeside or Rochester Municipal Park. Come and join me. Everybody knows how important walking is for us both Pre and Post ops so get of your arses and shuffle with me. I'll wear my kilt again. Remember that any walk program we do including this one is for everyone so preops don't be shy. kp

How much? I would love to joing ya, but not sure if i'll be able to afford it. Tomorrow is my last saturday working (volunteered to get some bills paid) but will be free saturdays after that. I can't wait to get caught up. Hugs Linda

how far is the walk? Linda

It's gonna be around Belle Isle. It's as long as you want to make it but Riverview has a 4 mile track laid out. You can go long or short. There will be shuttles to move people who need to cut it short. There will be water stations and people keeping the smoothness happening. It will be a good thing for everybody. Jon and I will wear our kilts. He's going commando. I'm not that brave. I have a plaid speedo to wear. No fair peeking. We're gonna have to carry Jay on a hammock. kp
