Humana Gold Choice Question

I am wondering if anyone else has Humana Gold Choice (Medicare) Insurance. If you do what kind of hoops did you have to jump through for them before surgury? My doctor is worried about do they actually do pre-autrhorization? They keep giving me different info than they do him. I would like to find some one that has actually gone through the surguery with them as the insurance carrier. Any information you can give me would be soooooo greatly appreciated.

i dropped them after over a year of jumping through hoops and went with straight medicare. best decision i ever made.

Wow! Someone else has Humana Gold Choice PFFS with Medicare!! Unfortunately, I joined them AFTER I had my WLS - I had problems with HAP. No one can seem to tell me if PS would be covered by them, and if so, which one.
