Things are happening....

Got my appt today for my psych eval!!! Oct 24th...little over a month from now...not too bad. It's with Dr Cathy Frank....has anyone dealt with her? Her secretary was awesome. Her name was Toya. I kept getting such the run around last week about making an appt. No one knew who to call or send me too!! Boy I am getting really anxious now ....maybe I would be able to have surgery in early 2007. How long does it normally take from the time you see the surgeon to get a surgery date?

Congrats on getting that psych eval. scheduled! That is a hurdle and now it's set! Just keep plugging away and you'll get there. I don't know what surgeon you are using, but from the time I saw my surgeon til I got a date was not long at all....maybe 6 weeks? Best of luck to you! Hugs, Theresa

Congrats on getting your appointment set. My psych eval is tomorrow and that's the last step before my hospital will submit my request to insurance for approval. It seems like my process is going quickly, but since I don't have a surgery date yet, I can't really speak to how long it should take. Good luck! Pam
