Flint Support Group

Can anyone tell me when and where WLS support groups are held in the Flint area? i emailed a guy but he hadn't even heard of Flint and the support group page said he was the mid-michigan group leader.. i wanna go! do u think it'd be okay if brought my baby? she sleeps a lot.. i've yet to leave her with a baby sitter.. a friend of mine had lap band surgery but i'm leaning more towards RNY.. i wanna see and talk to people who have had it. thankyou!

Hey Sarah, When you find out, let me know. I'm in the Flint area and wouldn't mind attending some. Had my surgery (open rny) 4 months ago and am doing well. But support is always good! (Thankfully I work with 2 fab ladies who had the same surgery as me, so I have built-in support.) Holler if you have questions I can answer.

First Monday of every month at the Hurley Fitness Club on Saginaw St. Right by Atherton road. They start at 5:30p and end at 7p. It is a very nice group of people. They also have a meeting on the 3rd monday of the month that is not affiliated with Hurley in the same location. They do this for the people who need more support every month. Wendy
