Major WOW moment today

Today Tina and I spent all day shopping- having a great time! We stopped at Applebees for a little lunch.My wow moment was when i looked down between my legs and saw that I dropped some food and it landed between my thighs and not down the front of me!!! I said to Tina" WOW- food actually dropped between my legs and not down the front of me!!!" LOL Plus it seemed like the table was a mile away from my belly!! Love this "tool" !!!!!! Shannon

Yeah...after eating 1/2 of our appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, they brought us our sandwich, which we shared. We took about 1 or 2 bites and boxed the rest. I think the waitress thought there was something wrong....LOL!!! I was actually uncomfortable sitting in that booth. The table was too far away...ahhhh, feels so good to fit in a booth with plenty of room to spare. I think Shannon could've sat on my lap and we still would've fit in that booth. LOL!! Then they really might've thought something was wrong with us! It was a good day! Tina

Glad to hear that you girls had such a good time out. We deserve those every once in a while! It's nice to not have to uttering the silent prayer that the waitress will put you in a table instead of a booth. Enjoy your wow moment!

I love to hear WOW moments like these. I'll be hoping to post my own WOW moment for my first time flying in an airplane since 155lbs shed in just 3 days. It will be interesting to see how I sit in a seat, not needing an extensioner, and just how well my laptop will sit on my lap to watch a movie while en route. Yes- they are awesome experiences. I have flown to Fla quite a few times since WLS and I am amazed how I fit in the seats and even have room on either side!! Yippeee Shannon

I also love that I don't get stains on my new tops from food dropping...it was always so frustrating...and always the first time I'd wear something, it seemed Thank you for your encouragement about my tummy tuck...yeah, I went to my Dr. Obeid and he wanted me to go to the PS he likes to work with. It's all good...I go for my follow-up appt. 10-4, then will get my surgery date. We're going to switch, too...do we actually need to switch, or will we just be "absorbed" into the BCBS system? I bet I'll be able to go see Becky, too, won't I? Will you resubmit for approval? Their guidelines are a bit different, aren't they? I should've sent all of this directly to you, eh? Sorry!
