Lori--I am down here in Lawrence. Had surgery (lap r-n-y) 3 months age. Where on earth did you get gas for 1.65 today?

It was at the woodbridge c store on centre. I couldn't believe it myself. There was a line a mile long it seemed! The next day I went and it was up past 2.20 again.

Hey Lori: I am in Paw Paw and have been all over Mattawan and Kazoo today and never saw anything lower than $2.21. Where were you? Pam

I filled up in Flint on Wednesday at $2.21. Haven't noticed what it is right now though. I'll be thrilled when it drops below $1 --- I drive 150 miles a day and gas prices have nearly killed me this past year! I was talking to my friend on the phone this morning in Nashville and gas prices were still up at $2.50. Pam

Gas is $2.28 at the Citgo station here in Shelby Township, but dad gassed up in Port Huron yesterday for $2.18....and kicked himself a few miles down the road at $2.13!! Gawd, will we be seeing less than $2.00/gallon before Halloween, or is this gonna be a BIG TRICK INSTEAD OF A TREAT??

I filled up yesterday near Willow Run, on Rawsonville Rd., at $2.15. The news just reported gas at $2.07 in Dearborn. They also said we could see gas prices go down to as low as $1.15 by the end of the year. They said the reason for this is our surplus and a mild hurricane season. My husband and I both commute daily 100 miles a day. We've been commuting together to save gas, but that means I have to get up at 4 AM and get to work an hour early. We have one car that gets 25 mpg and another that gets 18 mpg. When gas was $3 a gallon, riding together saved us nearly $400 a month!
