HI all fellow Michiganders! I have posted in the past and I have been in the process of being approved for three months now..well longer if you count all the hoops to go thru... (9mo) and I finally got approved. Problem is, I can't find a connection here. I need someone to bounce questions off of. Now that I am approved, I have a ton of questions regarding the surgery......my first one is....ARE YOU NAUSEOUS RIGHT AFTER SURGERY? I hate feeling sick to my stomach and want to avoid that at all costs. Someone want to clue me in? I am so excited and am still waiting for a surgery date. My surgeon's nurse is out of the office until next Monday. Ugggh. I want a date soon because I recently lost my job which held the benefits and I am paying COBRA Insurance until after the surgery. Very expensive I must say (678.00/mo). Anyway, would like to make some friends here. Hugs to you all. I will soon be a loser just like most of you! YIPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

It all depends on the person. I can say that I was nauseous in the hospital...mostly from the morphine that they gave me. When that was stopped, it cleared up a lot. They have anti-nausea meds they can give you via your IV so it can remedied fairly easily. Feel free to ask any and all questions here on the board. Everyone is pretty friendly. Hopefully, we will do our best to answer anything you are wondering since we all have had various experiences...someone along the line will be able to identify with you and help you on your quest for knowledge. HI Lori I'm 10 days out and feeling great. I still tire somewhat easy but no nausea at all...not even in the hospital...so I'm hoping the same for you. Congratulations!, on your approval. Kori
