10 pounds away!

Couple of Wow moments this week First, I had to go buy a pair of jeans. I had been living in capris and crop pants all summer but it got cold on Monday, and I had sold all my size 18W jeans because they were too big. Well, Meijer had the kind of jeans I liked on sale for $12.99. I knew I was no longer in "W"s anymore, but I thought I was still in 18s ... well, no longer. I have slipped down in 16s. Bought one pair Monday, had to go back today and buy a pair of khakis and brown corduroys (same price) today. While I was there, I decided to try on a size medium top. I had thought some of my tops were getting a little loose ... well, the mediums fit just fine. I have now gone down from a 30W or a tight 3X to a medium and a 16... I haven't worn a size 16 since I was in eighth grade (in 1969 ... a looooong time ago). The other wow moment was on the scale later this morning ... I am now down to 180 pounds. That means I'm 10 pounds from goal. I started out at 347 pounds back on June 15 when I started my two-week pre-op fast. I am looking into plastic surgery on my tummy and knee replacement on my right knee ... it all depends on which one will improve my life more. Right now, I can't walk a whole lot. I also have to see what's going on with my abdomen before I can proceed with the the PS (still haven't heard about the CT scan I had last week). But otherwise, this surgery saved my life.
