365 days...

Seeing as how it is one year to the day from my WLS I feel obligated to post something.. so here is my something. Over the last 365 days I have lost: Two of my grandmothers My under-ware at WalMart Several thousands of dollars in; clothing, supplements, medical co-pays.....the list goes on My Boobs My "Butt Shelf" My pains My apnea My sweet tooth *ok most of it at lest* My inability to accept a complement Some of my hair and 130 pounds Over the last 365 days I gained: MY LIFE BACK! I control every aspect of my life.. food does not control me. I have my pride and self-esteem back *most of it at lest*. My family has the REAL Erin back. I love LIVING my life and not just being a spectator! WLS was the BEST thing I ever gave ME! Now if I could just wrap my mind around the fact that I wear a 6 I'd be ok!!! Thank you to EVERYONE who has been a part of my journey. I would not be the success I am today with out each and everyone of YOU! *love and blessings!* Erin G 9/12/05 282/152/155......ok maybe 150

Erin, Happy Re-birthday!!! I am soooooo proud of you and all you have accomplished. You are very blessed to have such a wonderful husband and family in your life that supports the "new" you. If only......... I'm having an emotional day, sorry, don't mean to dampen your happiness. I am very thankful that I had the surgery for "ME" to come to light. I am happy and fulfilled in many aspects of my life, just not in the marriage department, lol. Someday I will have what I long for. It takes time. I'm back in school and doing well. I'm a little stretched right now between that and my three kids's schedules but I'm doing it!!! Keep that smile on your face hon because it brightens my day!! You are so beautiful!!! ACCEPT THAT COMMENT WITH PRIDE GIRL!!!! Love ya, Susan

YAY SUSAN! Where in the world have you been girl!?!?! I'm so happy to see you pop up on here once in a while! but I am more happy to hear you are doing OK. Finish up that school girl.. it is the best gift you can give YOU and those children right now. You are a strong woman and you will be fine.. keep that chin up! Yeah Erin! What a wonderful year you have had, and what a wonderful present to give yourself. I totally understand that size thing, I was doing the happy dance at Wal-mart in the dressing room all by myself just last weekend. It's a great feeling. Blessings to you too, Michelle
