Welcome to the Michigan board Kelly. WLS is something you need to research, research, researh!!!! Find people who've gone to your surgeon and ask questions. As for me: I'm taking the 5th on anything regarding CORI. Wishing you the very best!!! laurie

Hi Kelly I didn't go to cori cause i didn't like their aftercare . Dr John Webber out of harper hospital is marvelous though. I hope you find some answers. Hugs Linda

I chose my surgeon, not the center he was with. I did go through CORI and Dr. Wood was my surgeon. I have SO many wonderful things to say about Dr. Wood, but you need to find someone who works for YOU! Like others have said, reasearch research and research some more, and make the best possible decision you can for yourself. Good luck on your journey, email me if you have any specific questions about CORI! Jennifer 355/246/150

I also chose my surgeon rather than the program. Dr. Wood performed my surgery and he is WONDERFUL. Others have obviously had different experiences with CORI but my experiences have given me nothing to complain about. I have had some long wait times for appointments but in my book it's a fair trade-off for having Dr. Wood do my surgery. Good luck and keep asking questions, Karen

Kelly, In my opinion Cori is very good.....a center of excellence......I've had no problems........Dr. Wood is definately a talented and gifted surgeon, who's done more weight loss surgeries than most (over 2.000). But you need to research for yourself, call them, ask questions and decide what's right for you. They did have a shakeup a couple years ago, and I hear during that time, things were a bit shakey. Seems to me that everything's been taken care of and is running smoothly now.

I've not heard anything bad about them. All these places have some deal going on somewhere. I had no problem with CORI. I breezed through every step and had great after care but it all changed last March. Every peson I had ever worked with during my process was sent packing..... even my cutter split. My PCC, nut, MA, nurse, receptionist,,,,,, every one of them are gone. So I went too. kp
