PS Consult today

I went to the PS today for a consult. I was told that it takes 6 weeks to get approval from the insurance for my TT and thigh lift. It looks good for the thigh lift since I am having some issues but I am concerned with the PS because of the way he does TT's. I was told there would be a seperate charge for contouring my stomach after the skin is removed. I dont think I need this. But it was a hefty price tag and right now with us adopting from China there is no way I can afford that. Also he does a crescent shaped TT cut not an upside down T. Has anyone ever had the crescent cut? How much different is that than the upside down T? I would assume that the upside down T would be able to remove more skin and pull me tight. Any insight would be appreciated. And so starts the waiting game. Suzanne

I think the crescent cut is the anchor cut without the vertical cut. I don't know much about conturing but I'd say if there's a hefty price tag attached to get a second opinion. Laurie

I gots me a anchor cut whilst my chum Jon has a crescent cut. He whistles in a stiff wind. JK I had some more done during a scar revision in June. I'm all set now!! BTW - They hurt. kp
