I DID IT!!

Well it's been a few weeks since I've been on here but only because I had my surgery on August 28th. I am on the losers bench. I went to my 10 day appt on Thursday and I lost 26.5 lbs as of Thursday and another 13 as of yesterday morning. I had to go bra shopping last night...I've gone down 8 sizes and 1 cup size. I feel like the incredible shrinking woman. This has been one of the best times and worst times for me. I know that all the pain will be worth it in the end though. Stacey

Dear Stacey: Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's so great to hear!!!! I know that bra shopping feeling....I also had to shop early out because I'd lost so much too! It's just great to be the "incredible shrinking woman!!!" It really is!!!! When you experience pain, which we do, remember to breathe....and to be patient. It also means you might be doing too much, so slow down!!! Baby Steps girlfriend!!! BABY STEPS!!! This is a NEW life you have....so take it slow!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Stacey, I know the feeling.....this is a big step that requires baby steps. My surgery was on Sept 5th and it is a big adjustment to my lifestyle, just because I'm used to being on the move all the time.....now I have to take things slow....I plan to just sit back and enjoy the ride. I was just thinking about you Stacy...hoping things were going good. And from what you wrote...it seems it is. I am so glad. I got my approval today from HAP after only one appeal letter. So I am hopefully not far behind ya on the losers bench. Keep up the good work.
