looking for opst-op support group in my area

I am around 3 weeks post-op and I am supposed to be going to the post-op support group at the Northpointe (Unasource) in Troy. However I live in Van Buren (just south of Canton) and I am wondering if there is a post-op support group I can attend close to my house.

ST Mary Mercy meets the last Wed of most months. Not a bad trip up 275 to 696 to Levan. Their ad is usually on the side of this page.

I heard that there is a group that meets at the library in livonia but I do not know any details. I will contact my friend who told me that and let you know because I was not impressed with the support group out in warren where I had my surgery and I need on closer as well. Julie

We aren't a strictly post-op group, but we meet at the Big Boy inside Southland Mall the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm. You're more than welcome to join us! Our next meeting is Sept. 21st. Lizzie B

Thanks for all the replies. I am looking for something like a weekly meeting initially since I am new and do need help at this time. I would be happy to join later when I am more comfortable with myself. Can you tell me where Southland mall is? thanks Jobe
