coffee/ thanks
Coffee.....one of my morning rituals for decades.
However, after WLS, I learned that caffeine causes dehydration.
So, I started a 50-50 blend of decaf and regular and then slowly down to 75 decaf to 25 regular. That's what I drink now, just a little kick, but not much. I really don't need caffeine...I just like to know I'm having coffee. But a great cup of joe to me is a cappucino flavored with hazelnut and topped with whipped cream and powdered cocoa. And I can handle about 1/3 cup of that and that's not much.
Yep, it's in the moderation part. Just remember for the caffeine you take in, your body gets dehydrated...so drink more water!
