Coffee
Hi all: I have a question about caffeinated coffee. I have avoided all major sources of caffeine for over a year, but I have began enjoying real coffee about once a week, usually on Sunday. I was wondering if others still drink caffeinated coffee or tea and if there are any bad results. I know that they say that it dehydrates the body, but if enough water is consumed is it a problem? Are there other reasons to avoid caffeine?
Thank you: Herb
I am just over a year out. I drink a cup of coffee nearly everyday. I wasn't a big coffee drinker before surgery. Now I mix it about 3/4 coffee, 1/4 ho****er. I've read that you should drink more water to equal the amount of coffee you drink. I don't know. I still drink my 64 oz of water. I don't really count any of my liquids during the day excep****er.
I know I've read other opinions regarding this subject. Everyone is different. I just do what works for me. Good luck. Tina
