milestone reached!

Hello Everyone, It's been a long time since I've posted on the Michigan board. I actually haven't been online much at all lately. Work has been crazy with 14 hour work days and the family, etc. I know most of you can relate. Anyway, I miss my OH time and hope to pop in at least on the weekends. I wanted to share with you all since so many of you were so kind to me prior to and after my surgery. I had surgery on 3/28/06 and today I hit the 100 pound loss mark! It is a feeling I can't even describe in words. Funny story about my hubby. He said, "oh that is so wonderful we have to celebrate, where do you want to go for dinner tonight!" LOL I looked at him and said, let's eat at home and take the kids to the movies or bowling. It is so great that food is no longer my main focus. I am truly blessed to have had this surgery. I still have a ways to go, but it's amazing to be down 6 clothes sizes, etc. but the best part is good health and being able to keep up with my little girls. Mommy no longer has to sit on the sidelines and I know it will only get better. I have got to get my hubby to help me get an updated pic up on my profile. Congratulations Shari. Keep up the good work. Isn't it great that food is no longer #1 in your life. Your kids and hubby are probably very happy they have a "skinny" mom that they can do things with again.
