Denial...Round 1

I don't post often but I am a serious lurker. Some day I plan on attending a group session to have a more personal contact with all the people whose advice I read daily. Time always seems to be in short supply. Well, just before the Labor Day holiday I received word that I had been denied. I was sure that was going to happen since I had no documented diet history and my BCBS Community Blue PPO wants that 12 month history. So it was not devastating for me. I am still working on getting their requirements met and figure by spring 07 I should be on my way to a new me. Next week I will go in for a sleep study since I seem to have insomnia and snoring issues. Guess it could be another item on the plus list. Thanks for listening, Jan

It'll happen Jan. It might not have been the right time now but by Spring 07, you will have everything done and be sure that this is the right thing for you. You'll then join us on the loser's bench. Good luck.

Dear Jan, I'm so happy you come out and joined us. I wish you the best of luck in getting the approval you're seeking. It will happen, you just have to be patient. What I really wanted to tell you is that, you are going to the greatest and most talented surgeon I have ever known. My daughter in-law works with Dr. Obeid and insisted that I see him for my surgery. I love her death and trusted her decision for me. He's the best of the best as you will find out. I've lost 176 pounds and will be having a tummy tuck and various other plastic surgery on Sept. 28th. Dr. Obeid will be fixing a hernia that I have on that day too. Good luck!!!!! Hi Jan, Spring is a time of renewal! I am wishing u luck to have this done in the spring. Dr Obeid is very good as Frankie said. I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad she waited out all the setbacks of having her surgery done by Dr Obeid and DIDN"T go to CORI like I advised her to. Thank God she listened to her instincts & not ME!
