FAT and FRustrated
Hey Denise,
First off, I'm sorry other members responded like they did....saying Hi to someone else as a response to your post was just rude. It usually doesn't happen here.
It's good that you're posting, and making some decisions that will benefit your health and well being.
Try to keep going to church, you're going to need your faith through this process. Be prepared for the hoops that your surgery program may make you jump through. I promise it will be worth it.
One last word of advice, start analyzing what your issues are with food/eating now. The surgery is a great starting point, but you need to get in to a whole new mental state of mind afterward.
Best of Luck to you!
Thank you for all of the replies. Its nice to hear from people that can relate, that have been through what i am going through. Being so overweight makes me feel horrible, I isolate myself because I am embarassed, which in turn makes me feel worse because Im not going out or doing anything.
I hope I dont have to wait too terribly long to get the surgery. I have been in counseling for 3 years and have over come so many things in my life, this is like the last hurdle, and I am just SO ready to do it!!!
Any tips on speeding up the process?
thanks again,
denise
