Can Propel be substituted for water???
be careful b/c propel does have sugar. But I dont think its that. You and your body just went thru a major sugery! You gotta give your body time to catch up and adjust.
I have to tell myself everyday that this is a DAY BY DAY weight loss. You wont wake up one day and 100lbs will be gone. So give it time.
K~
22 pounds is nothing to sneeze at girl!!!! I think that is great! Congratulations!!!! I drink Propel a lot. It doesn't have that much sugar and it easier then plain water for me. So, I would drink it. At least you are getting your fluids in. Be patient the weight will come off.

Girl - you DONT have slow weight loss!!!! You're doing GREAT
22 pounds in 3.5 weeks is just about a pound a day.
I'd definately count it as water. I HATED water before surgery!! Unfortunately, I can't hate flavored waters more then plain, so now I really don't mind water too much. But I'm pretty weird about it, in the summer - it must be ICE cold; in the winter - it must be room temperature.
We definately change after surgery!!!!!
Take one day at a time. Forget about comparing yourself to others - everyone looses at a different rate. Some hit a stall right about a month out, others do not. Don't hinge your success or failure based on what other people's experience has been - it'll just set you up for a long and depressing journey. Instead - do what your surgeon requires, stick to it, get tha****er in (whatever form you can) start walking, get that protein in and don't stress over the scale.... heck, if it bother's you sooo much then throw the thing out!!!!
Keep in mind the bigger picture - you're losing weight, and getting healthier -- therefore you are a SUCCESS!!!!!!!

If it's just the flavor you're looking for ... I LOVE "True Lemon". They are little packets of flavoring (like the size of an Equal packet) that you put into your water. There are no calories but it makes your water taste like you just squeeze a wedge of lemon into it. Yum!
The only place I've been able to find it is at Kroger and VG's grocery stores. check the isle with the artifical sweeteners (equal, sweet-n-low, etc.). Comes in a yellow box and is around $2 for 40 packets.
Love this stuff!
