Dr. Katz - Madison Heights - Any Thoughts?

I am considering having surgery by Dr. Katz through St. Johns in Madison Heights. I havent read much about him. Does anyone have any experience with him? If so, what is your opinion on him and the hospital. Thanks!

I had Dr. Katz do my surgery. He was wonderful, along with everyone at his office. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I had my surgery 1yr ago Aug 22, and lost total of 150#. I had some work done at that hospital, it seemed nice enough. We (melanie and I) are right down the road from there if you want some post ops to come visit you and offer support and experience, do not hesitate to ask us. we'd be happy to help. She's a little over 2 years out and i'm a bit over 1 year out.

Dr> Katz used to work with my surgeon then broke off to do his own thing. My aunt and BIL both had him. I would trust him for sure. He does great work.

Dr. Katz is an awesome surgeon along with our other surgeons here. What I really like about Dr. Katz is his commitment to his patients as well as his bedisde manners. He is so commited to each one of his patients that you can reach him 24/7 by pager wherever he is. I know for a fact he has made house visits to some patients just for peace of mind. He has called to check on patient status to the patient from Israel last month. Who could ask for a more commited doctor.
