WLS and Menopause??

Okay! have any of you women that have had WLS in the past found that you started having menopause syptoms shortly after? I am 37 yrs old, I have a history of Hypothyroidisim and found out today that I just started menopause ... and not perimenopause.....all my bloodwork came back with clear levels. All these months I thought I was moody and irregular due to the surgery and all the changes my body has been going through.... hah!!! ..... at least I know why I am nuts half the time!!! lol!! I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience or just me? Other than all this.... things have been great!! eating is till good... I am maintaining my size 3/4 and for the most part feeling great!! I just can't complain!!! Nikki

After my surgery Terri got real moody and Jon got cramps,,,, I was the same lovable, charming person though maintaining my even disposition the whole way through. kp

KP I was all done with the hot flashes 2 years ago but after my surgery I began to get them again. One minute I'm freezing to death and the next minute I'm fanning myself. I just hope this phase doesn't last long. I hated it last time and I sure don't want to spend a few more years going through it again.
