Where to start? How long?

I'm hoping someone can tell me how long the process took them once they called the Cori Center? I know that my insurance does cover it. My BMI is at 37, and I do have some medical problems that should help in getting the insurance to cover it. I also have some medical supervised diets that I have done. I have PPOM. Has anyone had to deal with that insurance company?

I was 3 weeks from paperwork to cut date. But that was a long time ago and many managers/doctors/PCP's/office people ago. kp

I have ppom through hubby's shop. I started in Aug and had surgury in Dec. Our plan covered everything after deductable. We were very lucky with that part of it. I got held up a month because my pcp wanted additional tests because of family health history. I went to Dr Scholton in GR> Jo

Hi Robin! I got the ball rolling at the very end of January with CORI and surgery was March 31st. I have a different insurance company than you though and mine does NOT do pre approvals, so that might increase your wait time. Good luck to you, Jennifer 355/252/150

3 weeks here too. Meet Kole one night, had surgery the next morning. I was 261lbs with no medical problems. I had BCBS.
