AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am obsessed with it. Please tell me what you eat everyday. Well not everyday but more like a sample of your daily menu~ what you eat and drink in a single day. I really need help with this. Does anyone know what a normal heart rate is? Thanks all. God bless you, Annette

Hi Annette! According to www.webmd.com, a normal heart/pulse rate is: Children age 10+ and adults: 60-100 As for food? Um......I am having a binge lately and eating things I know I shouldn't be so I really don't want to answer that one right now!!!!!!! I've noticed I am ravaged or hungry most of the time right now and I know it's due to some stress in my life.......when I get past it I will let you know what I am eating. However I always start my day with protein ie., my liquid protein. Then a protein bar, followed by lunch and a snack then dinner and a snack. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!! Hugs to you!!! SW

Annette - here is what my day is usually like. Breakfast - Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal, add protein powder and raisins and extra cinnamon. Snack - protein shake Lunch - chicken salad or tunafish salad Snack - string cheese Dinner - rest of the salad or deli meat(turkey) and string cheese Snack - peanut butter on a popcorn cake Somewhere along the way I may have some nuts to get in the fat requirement. Sometimes for lunch/dinners I also like to have the Bumblebee tuna filets. It's a single serving in a pouch and you nuke it for 30 seconds - has about 36 grams of protein in it. Hope this helps. sarah

This is what I eat on a typical day. Remember that I'm 3 years post-op so I eat more "normal" than some others. breakfast- Choc. 100% AnyWhey mixed in skim milk w/fiber powder added snack-string cheese or lowfat cottage cheese single serving or fruit lunch-leftovers or 1/2 tuna, egg salad or ham sandwich on low carb. bread snack-yogurt mixed with protein powder or nuts or a SouthBeach bar dinner-beef or chicken of some sort, vegetable (carrots, califlower or broccoli mostly, sometimes a salad) snack-cheese w/ a couple of whole wheat crackers. My carb count is a lot higher than others due to the milk, cheese, yogurt, bread, fruit and crackers I often eat. If I find myself puttiing on a few pounds I cut way down on carbs for a few days. I try to drink most of my water each day and get 30-60 minutes of exercise each day too. Also you mentioned heart rate..Mine was 110 resting before WLS, now it's 50-60. As the heart becomes more effecient through diet and exercise it does not have to work as hard. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Thank you Kim. This helps. Right now I can't exercise, but as soon as I get cleared I will be exercising again. My heart rate is at 50 and my Dr. seems pretty concerened about it or maybe it's because I have other stuff going on with that. I personally think she would want me to exercise and get my heart rate up Thank you for your reply. God bless you, Annette
