Supp. Groups in Oakland County????

Hi All, I am scheduled for surgery on Sept 13, totally trilled and ready!! I was wondering if anyone on here is part of or knows of some Support Groups in Oakland County? I live in the Pontiac area, actually right between Pontiac and Hartland so I could do both Oakland and Livingston Counties, I am really eager to get going on this and get with the right support group and do all I need too! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks~

I was about to ask the very same question. I was wondering about support groups nearby too. I live in Lake Orion. Where are you having your surgery at on the 13th because mine is the 14th at Harper Hospital!!

I am having surgery at the Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti, it used to be known as the Bariatric treatment center, but recently changed the name. Maybe we could start our own support group, my email is [email protected]. Keep in touch and let me know how things are progressing. Marsha
