How does YOUR garden grow?

With summer just about over........ Perhaps YOU have had a garden this year. Do tell in elaborate detail if you so feel inclined: 1. What did you have in your garden? 2. What was the best thing you grew? 3. What was the worst thing that grew? (or didn't !!!) 4. Will you have a garden next year? and last but not least: 5. What will you put in your garden next year? *************************** Here is mine: 1. What did you have in your garden? Cherry tomatoes 2. What was the best thing you grew? Cherry tomatoes (about 25 on a tree!) This was my first attempt at growing maters!! 3. What was the worst thing that grew? (or didn't !!!) I didn't grow anything else 4. Will you have a garden next year? not sure yet and last but not least: 5. What will you put in your garden next year? I can't grow melons on my patio but I would like to try some larger vegetable than tomatoes because the cherry tomatoes I grew were too acidic for my pouch. SW

Hey Stacey!! (Beautiful Horse by the way!!!!) Now for the garden ?'s We had a HUGE garden planted. Had everything in it!! However due to no time to take care of it and lack of watering everything but corn, pumkins, green beans and a couple of squash died. We have TONS of pumpkins coming in. We made a killing in the corn dept. Got a couple of squash and a little bit of green beans to freeze. I will always have a garden since my dh is a farmer from way back and his garden is his surrogate farm now LOL! This year we had NO time for weeding and watering since I was training at a new 3rd shift job and he worked tons of overtime and my fil was hopitalized and had surgery and we had to take care of him and his garden. Next year will be better though. Wendy

1. What did you have in your garden? Just about everything--corns, tomatoes, cabbage, onions, herbs, peppers, sweet peas, green beans, watermelons and so on 2. What was the best thing you grew? definately the tomatoes. I just finished canning enough salsa to get us through the whole year! 3. What was the worst thing that grew? (or didn't !!!) the sweet peas were doing really good until they got struck by lightening then what didn't get zapped right away all died off 4. Will you have a garden next year? absolutely and last but not least: 5. What will you put in your garden next year probably more of the same
