OMG I thought PMS was bad before WLS. HOLY CRAP!!!! I feel like I've gained back every ounce of the 30lbs I just lost!!!! I was feeling AMAZING this week. The fatigue was passing I have been working my butt off. LITERALLY!!!! I go to Curves every morning and then walk a mile every night right. Yeah I put my nice new 18's on this morning down from a 24 and they were snug!!!!! I thought those days were over! Did this get worse for anyone else?? Give me a hot with a cup of sugar free hot chocolate and call me good! LOL I hope this gets better. Any suggestions? Hugs, Di

While i was in the hospital after wls, all i could feel was the horrible cramping....i didn't even feel the pain from the surgery cause of it. The first few months are rough Diane, but after that it's only once in a while. I hope you get feeling better. Hugs Linda

LOL So glad my Dr. gave me enough pain meds for after surgery. I'm just going to slip on in here and there and hope it gets better tomorrow. Hugs, Di

I don't allow PMS in my house. MS or AMS for that matter either. There will be none of that. kp

Oh yes, I went through that too. The pms was bad and the actual ms was even worse!!! Mine were bad for about five or six months after surgery, then they got better. About all you can do is hang in there!!! The only good thing for me was I did drop about 5 pounds during that week. As far as the tightness in clothes. That's probably never over. I notice it more now becuase there is very little difference between sizes now. But I'm sure that those snug 18's FEEL better then the 24's any day of the week - Congrats!!!!! laurie

Hi Laurie, I am SOOO glad I promised my angel Judy I would only weigh myself on fridays. Otherwise I would probably be a total basket case wondering where these extra pounds have come from. Since I am only 6 weeks out I shouldn't be gaining ANYTHING!!! LOL. You got that right about the 18's I'll take those over 24's any day!!! I think the MS is even worse yes. My back hurts so bad from the cramps I am not going to do a whole lot of anything today and hope it gets better tomorrow. Thanks so much for the encouragement. Hugs, Di

I was told that because we are thinner now that our bodies are more apt to have our cycles on a more regular basis. I have the mood swings sometimes very severe, where I cry and get really upset and I have no idea why. But I notice my cycles are more predictable and more often. (not skipping a month etc) Hope it helps. Suzanne

My cycles were always regular HOWEVER, the mood swings now....my poor DH. He nearly lost his head last night by my biting it off. LOL He was smart and just went to bed early. LOL poor thing. I wonder if we can take any over the counter pills to help with this. I'll have to check into that. Thanks for the advice. Hugs, Di

I was told that our fat holds tons of estrogen and when we lose quickly it dumps into our systems and can produce major hormonal changes. However this can happen anytime of the month also, not just at pms time. Also I have noticed that since I have lost so much weight, I feel every pound on my body now. So if I pick up a pound or two of water weight, I really feel it. It goes away and you will drop tons of weight around your period time, it will be something you look forward too every month LOL! For some reason it is a high metabolism time also. Wendy
