FRANKENMUTH - WITHOUT ME! PROFILE UPDATE & SOME OTHER STUFF

It's been a while since I posted here. Been trying to stay under the radar and just lurk from time to time. Lots of things have been happening in my life. Some good and some just plain crappy. Frankenmuth! From what I've been reading here today, the gtg happened afterall. The last I knew the idea was scrapped due to lack of interest. I really wanted to go to that and meet some of you. Oh well, maybe next time. I have just updated my profile if any of you care to check it out. Its easier for me to just re-direct interested persons to it than to re-hash the last three months of my life here. My husband's health continues to decline. It is very hard to watch someone you love go thru something like this. I have been spiraling downward (and I don't mean the scale) a bit, but, I think I have pulled myself out of it and am once again headed in the right direction. It is difficult to take care of one's self when others need so much from me right now. However, I can't begin to help others if I don't care enough to do what is best for me. KEVIN, if you read this - Remember our discussion about SD classes? Well, I will be starting my second round of Self Defense Training in September. I like it and it is really good excerise too. My instructor is a stickler for self disipline and really puts us thru our paces. Push Ups, Leg Lifts, and that is just for warm up! Ugh! That's it for now folks. Pam

Hey Pam, I am sorry to hear things have been tough. I will keep you both in prayer. As far as the frankenmuth gtg. It wasn't the regular annual gathering, but it sounds like the girls had a great time. I will try and schedule another one in the spring, hopefully we willbe able to nail a day that works for most. It is VERY hard to please everyone. Anyway, I hope things start to look up for you. God Bless---Toni

The GTG started when Phyllis called me to do some pics for her profile. This was a personal favor she had asked of me to do and then we chose to open up the invite to anyone who wanted to come. Melissa from Flushing was the only other person who came, as we posted the open invite rather late in the week. I just made it public so we / anyone who could meet there, would come if they chose to. This was not a big event so to speak with lots of people, just us 3 and KP in Leiderhosen. I posted it late in notice because Phyllis and I thought we should invite others. We'll do it again sometime I'm sure.

Pam i'm glad you got back on track despite what a horrible time you are going through. It's very sad that these things only happen to good people. I am sorry you are going through so much, and i will pray that your husband can get his transplant. Take care of yourself so you can be there for your husband. Email me anytime if you need to talk.
