Home from Hawaii!

Can I just tell you I had the BEST TIME in Hawaii, for reasons only those on this board would remotely understand. 1. I wore a swimsuit in public ( lets not get crazy, Im not a babe.......yet!) 2. I flew on an airplane and didn't need a seatbelt extender!! 3. I wore a tank top and halter top ( not at the same time) 4. I worse flip flops like every other person and my feet only ached a little at the end of the day. 5. I wasnt hiding from the camera everytime we snapped a picture. It was just all around a great 2 weeks in paradise and I know it would have been different before surgery because I wouldnt want to wear summer clothes, or be seen, or fear of not fitting into an airplane seat. I felt free ( well, at least as free as a girl can feel with a 15 month hanging on her hip - which btw the baby can wrap her legs around now Kathryn

Hi Kathryn! I'm so happy for you! What a wonderful vacation you had, and all of the FREEDOM . It's sooooooooo exciting to hear about. We're having our next Downriver Support Group meeting on Sept. 21st. I hope you can make it, and bring pictures!! I can't wait to see you and hear how you are doing. Welcome home! Umm but where are our vacation photos!?!?!? We want to see!!! Are you going to Dr. Webber's picnic on the 24th? I'm 99% sure the Gaynor clan will be making the trek.. Kathryn I'm with the others... where are the photos! My husband and I were married in Hawaii 4 years ago and go back each year for the holidays. Which island/islands did you visit? Our favorite is the big island. Glad you had a nice time... Kim

Isn't that awesome! What an experience you had with that skinny body. My husband and I went a year ago and it was before my surgery and I was miserable to say the least. So he said we will do it again with me and my new body in 2008. Alot of walking to do. You Go Girl!.....Paula W
