On my hand this time! Just got home from the ER after having severe pain in my hand & arm all day long and my PCP not being available today, Okay, it had been bothering me for a long time but I treated it as a nussance and thought it would eventually go away. I finally gave up and went into the ER cause the pain was so bad. Diagnosis was advanced Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and since I can't be treated with the normal NSAID treatment and the advanced state of the condition the ER docs believe that surgery is required. So they gave me a referal to a hand surgeon, put a splint on my wrist and sent me on my way! And when I got home and looked at the paper with the surgeon's name, I couldn't stop laughing....it is the same surgeon I saw on monday for my tummy tuck consult! Hmmmmm take out 2 birds with one stone???? So I will be calling his office again tomorrow to schedule the consult for the carpel tunnel & ask if he can do both surgeries at the same time!

Hi Tracy I am so sorry to hear about this. I hope all goes well. I know the pain of carpel tunnel. It totally sucks. Mine hasn't gotten bad enough for surgery yet thank the Lord! Good luck and I hope the pain gets better for you hon! Hugs, Di

Hey Tracey. I see you had Dr Foote as your weight loss surgeon. Are you aware he is doing plastic surgery also now? He had mentioned he was going to be doing it in orientation last April. I asked him about it yesterday just before my wls and he does them now. He told me he'd see me in about 1-1/2 yr for it.. Back to your post though. I had carpal tunnel and my PCP was going to refer me to a surgeon, but advised me to see a chiropractor first. I did and I haven't had surgery yet and it's been over 7-yrs. I don't even get twinges. Good luck on your CT treatments!
