In High school, myself and Freddie were teachers pets to Mrs. Hartworthy. She taught Humanities in our Junior/Senior years. I never did read The Iliad or The Odyssey by Homer, yet got an A every time. On graduation night, we presented her with a dozen roses each, causing her to cry and just be overwhelmed with joy. We loved that woman, and when Freddie (a classmate) and I found out she had passed, we were devastated but knew she was with us in our hearts.

5. What is the most memorable thing that happened to you in school (any year) that you will never forget (good or bad)
geee, I was just a quiet student who never drew much attention to myself. I never even met the principal one on one, until the day he handed me my diploma!! But I do remember in high school walking down the hall, laughing with my friends when the next thing I knew I was on the floor. My ankle had twisted very very badly. They got me to the office but there was no one to take me to the hospital. They finally contacted a friend of the family and he came up and got me. It was a loooong walk to the car and I couldn't even begin to walk - so he picked me up and carried me to the car. I'll never forget the look on my classmates faces to have this fabulously handsome man (about age 23) carry me out of the school!!!!!

I'm sure I'll find something new and my hubby is a BIG help with keeping me warm

Wear my sons jersey (his coaches have asked since he was a sophomore for their parents to wear the jersey they weren't wearing to all games but I've never been able to fit into it - this year I can!!!) and coach the cheerleaders who will be cheering for the team! Ummm well there's lots more too cuz I have an 8th grader playing football too so I'll be getting my full of football this fall.
5. What is the most memorable thing that happened to you in school (any year) that you will never forget (good or bad)
My senior year of high school I auditioned for honors band early because it was at our school and I had another committment later that night. The next day our band instructor was telling the class who he knew made it and I wasn't mentioned - I was sort of devestated but would have never said anything. The next week the actual results came in and there were a few changes from what he had announced, which he knew would happen however he started talking about this "one" person who made honors band and how this person must have played better then they ever had in their life before and he went on and on about how amazing this was and everyone was looking at everyone trying to figure out who he meant when he announced that I had made 1st chair baritone - I was absolutely in the clouds!! (My band instructor and I were great friends we were always having "fights" in class where I'd stand up and argue with him about things and everyone would jus****ch us with opens mouths. Often we would be able to do it and not burst out into laughter!!) I miss band...

I have this really nice thick comfy green sweater that zips up the front that a friend (thank you Debi) gave to me at a clothing exchange. It's way to big on me now, but it's so comfortable that I will never give it up~at least I don't think I will.
4. Name two things you plan to do this fall.
I will go to Erwins Orchard. It's our new family tradition. We started going there 3 years ago and love it. #2 I would love to save enough to get my teeth fixed, and get a full body lift. I need everything from my legs to my faced lifted~It's not a pretty sight *shakes head*
5. What is the most memorable thing that happened to you in school (any year) that you will never forget (good or bad)
Let's see, the most memorable thing humm....(I was a bad girl and don't remember a lot of my high school days) But I do remember the time I went to Wild Bills party shop, with two of my friends. They went in and bought some liquor. I think it was orange flavored vodka. We went down to the flats and drank the whole fifth, then decided we should go back to school so we wouldn't get in trouble for skipping classes(oh the minds of drunk teenagers)~bad move! We were so busted. My friends ended up being suspended for a couple of weeks. I on the other hand only was suspended for 3 days because they influenced me to do something I would not ordinarily do~if they only knew *hangs head in shame*. We ended up having to go to court for that one. I'm a good girl now~well most of the time lol.
God bless ,
Annette
