Hello! I have not updated or looked at this site for so long! It is funny when I first had by WLS I was on here all the time. Then as the weight goes your activities rise! I have lost over 220 lbs! I can't believe it! I NEVER thought it would happen! I still want to lose more but I couldn't wait and had my plastic surgery! My tummy tuck and upper arm lift was last week! YEOUCH!! I am uncomfortable, I hate these drains! I didnt' need them for my other surgery. But my arms are probably 4 inches smaller around and my tummy doesn't hang in a lump anymore. That is very strange! I still have a lot of swelling and healing to do but it is all worth it. Anyone that is still waiting for surgery, debating this is the right thing for you. Do all your homework! Document everything you can about your previous weight loss attempts, It's all worth the wait! IF you are scared of the surgery, I was too. I was more scared of the plastic surgery, I told the anestesiologist to not let me die! But as Morgan Freeman said in the movie "Shawshank Redemption".... ' GET BUSY LIVING OR GET BUSY DYING.' Thanks for listening!

My gosh, Chris! Has it been two years already???!!! Congratulations on the fabulous weight loss and the tt & arm lift! When I got my tt, I felt a surge of confidence, well-being and pride! I finally felt "finished"! It's a great feeling, no matter how much it smarts! As the swelling subsides, you will be amazed...no more tucking the fat/skin into the jeans...you'll wear shorter shirts and be proud!! It's funny how pants fit now...plenty of roomin the front but fits well in the butt. Too funny! Again, congratulations! We want to see a new pic!!!! Hugs, Theresa
