I added a before pix to my profile. It's a head shot only for now, I can't bring myself to let the camera see my whole body yet.......(smile)

Hey Rachel, I must tell you that you should not feel embarrassed to take a full body shot here. This is the only place I have found in my life where I am actually comfortable to tell people my shape, size, weight because EVERYONE on this board are where you are or have been there. I just had my lap RNY on July 17th so technically I am still WAY overweight. Be proud of the woman you are because you are working on getting healthy. Hope to read future posts on your WLS journey. Thanks Di, I've met such wonderful people on this website, it's been such a blessing to become a member of OH. It's not that I'm embarassed to let the people on the site see me, it's that I have hidden from cameras for so long and I haven't seen a picture of me, I'm afraid of what I might see, if that makes sense????? Seeing a picture of yourself is different then seeing yourself in the mirror everyday and I just don't want to see a picture and then not want to leave the house because I"m huge. I go for my consult with my surgeon on Wednesday the 30th so I'll have them take a body shot there for my file and then I'll post it on my site eventually. Where did you have your surgery done at? Who was your surgeon? Do you live in the Metro Detroit area? How much weight have you lost so far? Is it hard learning to eat differently? (I'm full of questions) (smile) See Ya, Rachel
