To worry or not to worry.....

OK so despite vacation I am now 2 pounds below goal (at lest my Dr's goal, that being my "ideal body weight").. not sure if or when I should worry about that one. (I left a message with my Dr. today to call me back for his opinion). I'm also a bit concerned that I might be "addicted" to losing weight. Does that make sense? I'm 5'10 and I weigh 153 right now.. but I keep thinking maybe I should weigh 140 but then I think maybe thats too skinny I mean LBH.. I've had 3 kids and I'm 35. I am planning on having a TT so I know that should knock off a few pounds (I'm thinking 5 or so). My original goal was to be 165, then 155 and each time I hit a goal I lower it... although I'm 99% sure I do not want to be under 130 or less then a size 6 (which I am pretty much in or just about into now). Any who I'm open to any thoughts on the topic..... Thanks for reading.... Erin 9/12/05 282/153/ who knows now....

Erin, Look at your BMI and see where you are. If you are small framed a lower weight is acceptable. But you seem aware of yourself so I would say you are probably ok. I was told today by my doc that nobody reaches 100 % loss of the excess weight! LOL!! He said I would probably never reach my goal weight!! I told him I have steadily lost 8-10 lbs a month and he was shocked!! Apparently he has never visited our board here! I am not sure the doctors know what is up sometimes. But be wary and keep on your toes, and you will be ok. Now go see Doc Laurie and find out if your too skinny!! Wendy

Ok, this is something I learned in Weigh****chers: At 5 foot, you need to be 100 lbs. For ea*****h over 5 foot, add 5 lbs. So, if you are 5'10", you would be 150 lbs. If you have a small frame, subtract 10%, or 135 lbs. If you have a large frame, add 10% or 165 lbs.

Hi Erin, I'm 5'9" and weigh 170 w/ med to large frame. Everyone around me seems to think I should not lose anymore. That I am the perfect weight and size for my frame. I feel like I should be smaller though. So I know what you mean. But it does not sound like you should lose anymore weight. You don't want to be too skinny. You're a woman, you'll lose all your SEX APPEAL!!!! LOL. When you have your TT, it will make a huge difference. I had my TT and breast lift this past December. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Do you have a plastic surgeon yet? Mine was Dr. Vincent DiNick out of the Barix Clinics in Ypsilanti. Take care, Carey

"Don't worry,,, 'bout a thing,,,, 'cause every litlle thing,, gonna be alright,,," You'll be fine. I bounced back up to just below goal after I blew past it by 12%. It took me a few months of trial and error puking though. But I am 8 lbs below goal now and feeling good. We all do that. Tami and I will lose weight if we don't eat ll the time so I adjust to do what I need to do. kp
