Nerves are all part of the game. As I tel folks it's what makes us human - we want to live. You're stepping into a new world and you will have all kinds of crazy feelings. That's all normal. Keep your focus and know you are doing the right thing. You will have an easier time recovering because your mindset will be on success. Follow your doc's rules and think of this as a mission that you are in control of. You have taken charge and your end results will be fantastic. Just wait and see. You ROCK!!!!! kp

Dear Cheryl, I just took the time to read your entire page of posts that has led you up to this point. I am so happy you have a loving family and such a wonderful support system in place! I'm certain you are nervous and, BELIEVE ME, that is normal!!! I can tell you have a strong faith and it is time to trust in your faith and say a prayer for a successful surgery. I will say a prayer for you, too!! I have often referred to this board for insight and advice, although I do not post all that often. You will soon be losing and wonder why you ever had any doubts!!! (I myself am 6 1/2 months out of surgery and down 106 lbs. Yipee!!!) Please know there are many "cyber friends" on this board who care about you!! My best wishes to you. Hugs, Nancy K.
